　　National Day has arrived and the streets have taken on a new look. Everyone is celebrating the sixty-first birthday of our motherland.

　　Thousands of children hold colorful balloons and let them fly in the blue sky of Tiananmen. When the balloons rise higher and higher, I think the future of our motherland will be as prosperous as balloons.

　　国庆节到了，大街上焕然一新。人们个个都在庆祝我们祖国的六十一岁生日。

　　马路两旁，新种满了五彩缤纷的花草，还插上了五颜六色的彩旗。整个城市显示出一派节日气象。马路上有神气的武警叔叔在巡逻，保卫着我们的家园。路旁的许多小店都挂上五星红旗。望着国旗在秋风中飘扬，我心想：祖国在我们每一个人的心中呀！

　　上午十点，我准时坐在电视机前观看盛大的阅兵仪式。海、陆、空三军排列的那么整齐、威武雄壮，叔叔阿姨们一个个英姿飒爽、斗志昂扬。胡爷爷站在观礼车上，开始检阅。“同志们好！”“首长好！”“同志们辛苦了！”

　　“为人民服务”！从他们铿锵有力的答语中，我看到了祖国在每个人心中的分量。受检阅的还有装备精良的坦克，排列着整齐队伍的飞机，我真为我们强大的祖国而感到自豪啊！

　　晚上，电视上现场直播十一联欢会。天安门广场上，彩色的霓红灯交相辉映，在蓝黑色的夜空中，构成了一幅美丽的图画。在几千人组成的光立方上，首先映入眼帘的是”祖国万岁”四个大字。广场上花团锦簇，把天安门装点的更加绚丽多彩。

　　随着一声声震耳欲聋的礼炮声，天空中绽开了大大的流光溢彩，它告诉我们，祖国妈妈六十岁了！

　　还有天上那展翅飞翔的和平鸽，那可爱美丽的笑脸，都象征着我们的祖国爱好和平，团结友爱的世界精神。

　　成千上万的小朋友们手握五彩气球，放飞在天安门湛蓝的天空下，当气球越升越高，我想，我们祖国的未来也一定会像这气球一样，蒸蒸日上吧！
