　　On the eve of the Spring Festival, families get together and have a big dinner. Dumplings are the most traditional food.

　　The Spring Festival lasts about 15 days long. People visit relatives and friends with the words “Happy new year”. People enjoy the Spring Festival, during this time they can have a good rest.

　　Children like the festival very much, because they can have delicious food and wear new clothes. They can also get some money from their elders. This money is given to children for good luck.

　　春节是中华民族最重要的节日。春节来临之前，人们要扫尘、贴对联、放鞭炮来驱赶传说中的怪兽“年”。

　　春节前夕，家人都会团聚在一起享受丰盛的年夜饭。饺子是最传统的食物。

　　春节大约持续15天。人们都要走亲访友，相互拜年，还要说：“新年快乐，万事如意。”还可以好好休息一段时间。

　　孩子们更是喜欢过节，因为他们不仅可以吃到美味佳肴、穿上新衣服，还可以得到很多压岁钱。晚辈得到压岁钱就可以平平安安度过一岁。

　　My Spring Festival

　　Last year's Spring Festival is special. My uncle and my aunt came back from Shanghai. My family were very happy to spend the Spring Festival with them. And it was the most exciting festival of all the festivals.

　　On New Year's Eve，my father and my uncle talked about their work together. My mum did some cooking with my aunt. Grandparents and I watched the New Year TV programmes. At about six o’clock， we had a special family dinner. We all thought the dumplings were delicious.

　　On the first day of the New Year， we visited our relatives. In the afternoon，we went shopping in Jiefang Road. My uncle bought some Jay's CDs. He likes Jay’s music very much. There were so many people on the road. It was more alive than any other time of a year.

　　On the second and the third days，we spent a wonderful weekend in the country. There were much bigger trees than in the city. And the animals were more beautiful than in the city. We all enjoyed ourselves.

　　去年的春节是特别的。我的叔叔和我的姑姑从上海回来。我的家人一起过春节很快乐。并且它是所有节日中最令人兴奋的节日。

　　在除夕夜，我父亲和我叔叔一起谈论他们的工作。我的妈妈和阿姨做饭。祖父母，我看了新年的电视节目。在大约六点，我们有一个特别的家庭晚餐。我们都认为饺子很美味。
