　　阿尔萨斯馆是一幢四层建筑，正门的水幕太阳能墙是最大的亮点。这一科技墙的原型是法国阿尔萨斯布克斯韦尔中学的太阳墙，在当地应用于冬季供暖。考虑到上海的夏季高温潮湿，阿尔萨斯馆门前的太阳能墙又增添了夏季功能。

　　水幕太阳能墙从外到内包括三层，外层是由太阳能电池板和厚玻璃组成，中间层是个可开可闭的空气层，内层就是有水流经过的水幕玻璃层。在夏季，太阳能电池板能遮挡掉部分阳光，室外的热空气进入空气层后，接触到了水幕墙，通过蒸发作用产生冷却降温的作用。“上海的夏天实在太热了，水幕墙不可能完全替代空调。”总代表MaryseDondrille女士坦言，“不过水幕墙可以最大限度地减低室内温度，降低了整个建筑对中央空调的依赖。”
